About the Chef:
Alex Bury was trained as a classical chef at the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America. She opened a vegan restaurant in the California wine country more than a decade ago, and has worked as an instructor for the McDougall Program. She has also offered her talents as a chef instructor for Whole Foods Market and Oakland Veg. She now works full-time for The Humane Society of the United States.
